Jade is our fantastic facilitator. Jade has been involved in our playgroup since 2016 when she first came to sessions with her eldest son. Add another son to the mix, and a want to move away from her corporate graphic design career. Jade became a relief facilitator in 2019 before taking on a permanent role in 2022.
Jade is always ready to welcome you and your child with a smile. She has a love of craft, messy play and any sort of construction.
Jade spends her time away from playgroup enjoying time with her family. Be it the beach, bush, or a farmers market they are always up to something. Jade often has an intriguing project on the go. She is currently renovating a 1984 caravan called Jessie.

Hi, I’m Carly! 😊 I’m a local mum of two girls and North Ringwood Playgroup has been a special part of our lives since my oldest was just a baby. We’ve made so many lovely memories here over the years, so it feels extra meaningful to now be stepping into a new role as a facilitator in 2026.
Outside of playgroup, I’m a primary school teacher and I have always loved working with young people. Watching children learn, grow and gain confidence is something I’m passionate about and I feel so lucky to be part of those moments, both in the classroom and beyond.
When I’m not teaching or chasing after my kids, you’ll usually find me heading out for walks with my family, spending time in the kitchen cooking (and eating!), or dreaming about and planning our next travel adventure.
I’m super excited to be joining the playgroup team in 2026 as a facilitator on Mondays and Wednesdays. I can’t wait to meet lots of new families, build connections and be part of the fun at playgroup! 💛

Phoebe is the newest facilitator at our playgroup, beginning in 2025.
She has previously worked in children's ministry at her church and simply loves kids- she is inspired by their curiosity, creativity and honesty. She loves coming up with creative ways to engage kids, encouraging them to explore things for themselves.
She is currently also completing a Bachelor of Social Work online and works casually as a professional dancer across Melbourne.
For fun, Phoebe loves spending time indoors (reading and watching movies) and outdoors (hiking and camping) with her husband Josh. Much of their week is spent in community with their friends and family. Phoebe and Josh love cooking and value hospitality.

Our facilitators are trained in first aid, have a working with children’s check and successfully completed the Victorian Department of Education and Training course on the updated Child Safe Standards 2022.
The role of the facilitator is to create a safe, engaging and appealing environment in which parents and carers can spend time with their children.
